`_ Damon’s POV_`
It had been almost a month since Damon had met Amber. Seen her at the photo-shoot where she had been confounding his every attempt of charm, both natural and vampire. She had been there in passing a week later to deliver the amazing quality photos to Stefan as her and Elena were heading out of town to shop with Amber’s mother, and were staying to help out at the shoot in… Louisiana if he remembered correctly. Stefan was moping a bit, but it wasn’t annoying Damon as much as he thought. He stared at the fire, trying to understand the sudden conflicting emotions in his body since he had that hour with Amber. He sipped his drink as he heard a car pull up and girlish giggles. He slowly got up as Stefan jumped the stairs and opened the door as Elena came in with bags. He rolled his eyes as they kissed. “Just you I take it?” he asked as he looked outside, swallowing as he saw Amber and her mother Karla step out with a brunette woman also holding bags. He wanted to go out and… Probably make the worst scene of his life as Amber brought the new girl up. “Hello” he said as Stefan and Elena moved out of the way to let them in. “Hey Damon. This is Sophie Williams. Her mom was a friend of mine in high school, so she’s going to stay with us for awhile to get out. See a bit of the world” Amber said as she followed Elena and Stefan to the living room. Damon got the distinct feeling she was hiding bits. But then again, so was he and Stefan. “Hello Sophie. I’m Damon Salvatore” he said as he took his glass again.
